Grace Kneafsey, Head of Inward Investment, West Midlands Growth Company
Grace Kneafsey is a seasoned professional with expertise in business development, inward investment, and tax consulting. As a Senior Business Development Manager at Low Carbon, Grace is responsible for promoting the West Midlands region to national and international audiences with a focus on supporting job creation in the low carbon sector. Prior to her current role, Grace served as a Business Development Manager at Equipment Connect and a consultant in Deloitte’s Transactions Tax team, where she specialised in Real Estate Tax. Grace holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography from the University of Oxford and completed all papers under the ACA/CTA joint pathway, including the Taxation of Major Corporates and Advanced Diploma in International Taxation
Lucy Fogarty Strategy and Customer Engagement – Evari
Lucy Fogarty is the Strategy & Customer Engagement Manager at Evari, a tech startup that has developed an enterprise-grade SaaS platform for financial service companies. Prior to her role at Evari, she worked as a Management Consultant at Port Jackson Partners, an Australian strategy consulting firm acquired by EY in 2020. Lucy also served as a Growth Analyst at Evari Insure and held internships at Revoir Pty Ltd, gaining experience in operations, strategy, and marketing.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce & Bachelor of Science (Advanced) from the University of Sydney, where she majored in finance, marketing, and geography and was involved in several organisations, including 180 Degrees Consulting, the Beta Gamma Sigma Society, and the Sony Foundation St Andrew’s College Children’s Camp. She also completed a one-year exchange program at the University of Edinburgh.
Ross Attrill – Chief Innovation Officer at Energy One
Ross Attrill is the Chief Innovation Officer at Energy One Limited. With well over a decade of experience at Energy One, Ross has a proven track record of designing and developing new software solutions for the Australian and international energy industry. Ross is particularly interested in intelligent, automatic solutions for renewable generation and batteries.
Ross has also held positions at EnVizi, Origin Energy, Alinta and Duke Energy.
He has a BE (Hons 1) in Electrical Engineering and a BSc in Maths and Physics from the University of Sydney, as well as a Grad Cert in Management from Chifley Business School. His skills include software engineering, system architecture, and software development,
