Home to the highest number of emerging tech companies in the UK and leading in 10 disciplines within the tech & creative sector – including digital transformation, gaming, immersive tech, process automation & software development – the West Midlands is the destination for tech companies seeking to scale-up and accelerate business growth.
With the UK’s fastest-growing tech cluster and globally recognised R&D network of universities, accelerators and incubators, companies can pioneer next-generation technologies in the region. Opportunities are available in high-growth industries to trial, develop, test, and prototype game-changing technologies across energy, mobility, manufacturing and housing to deliver holistic and impactful green solutions.
This seminar will explore:
- How the West Midlands Growth Company (WMGC) can support Australian tech companies seeking to scale up and accelerate growth in the UK.
- Learn about the fully funded package of soft-landing support for companies investing in the West Midlands.
- Why the West Midlands is the fastest growing tech cluster in the UK and how the region’s tech capabilities are fostering innovation across established and emerging industries.
- Why global companies such as Goldman Sachs, HSBC, Jaguar Land Rover, CarbonTRACK and EnergyOne have chosen to establish their UK or European headquarters in the West Midlands.
This event will showcase why global tech companies have chosen to establish their UK or European headquarters in the West Midlands. Participants will also learn about the WMGC’s Global Growth Programme (GGP), a fully funded package of soft-landing support for companies investing in the West Midlands including commercial space, professional service offerings, market-entry and innovation services for international companies to invest, establish and scale rapidly at the heart of the UK’s fastest growing technology cluster.
