Fluoron was established in 1988 and specialises in the manufacturing of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) products, commonly known by their brand name Teflon™, as well as other high-performance fluoropolymers. These products are used in the aerospace industry due to their exceptional inertness and heat insulating properties and are found on satellites and rockets. Fluorondesigns and fabricates PTFE in heat shrinkable large format dimensions, a capability not available anywhere else globally, thus allowing their application in unique use-cases in aerospace.
