Foley is proud to partner with the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) to deliver a focused defence trade mission to Australia in November 2025, designed to strengthen AUKUS-aligned collaboration between the U.S. and Australian defence sectors.

Following their participation in the Indo Pacific 2025 International Maritime Exposition in Sydney (4–6 November), the Virginia delegation will travel to Adelaide and Perth (10–14 November)—two hubs central to Australia’s sovereign defence and shipbuilding capabilities.

The mission will showcase leading Virginia-based companies specialising in areas such as:

  • Naval and submarine technology

  • Advanced manufacturing and engineering

  • Cybersecurity and secure communications

  • Defence-related software and simulation

  • Autonomous systems and AI for defence applications

An Opportunity for Australian Companies

This mission represents a unique opportunity for Australian defence organisations—from tier-one contractors to agile tech innovators—to connect directly with Virginia’s defence and advanced manufacturing ecosystem.

Whether you’re looking to explore supplier relationships, share capability briefs, or better understand the U.S. defence innovation landscape, this mission offers a platform for meaningful engagement.
